The Walter Special was created by our longtime floral designer, Walter Hampton, whom we lost unexpectedly this August. Walter was a talented designer, a wonderful coworker, and one of those rare people whose generosity seemed to know no bounds. He loved flowers, and Stargazer lilies were his favorite.
Years ago, Walter created this striking combination of vibrant Stargazer lilies and lush red roses, and The Walter Special became part of our Deer Run collection. We’re featuring his design again this month in his memory. It seems only fitting that one of the ways we remember Walter is through something beautiful that he left behind.
